Don Peoples

Donald E. Peoples is a graphic designer, cartoonist, and photographer. He is a member of the National Cartoonists Society. Donald is a founding member of the Board of Directors of the ToonSeum, a museum of cartoon art in Pittsburgh, PA. His career as a graphic artist at  the Akron-Summit County Public Library for has spanned over 25 years. He earned a BFA degree in graphic design from the University of Akron.

Donald was chosen as the First Night Akron 2012 button artist. His art has been exhibited at the Akron Art Museum, the Butler Institute of American Art, the Summit County Executive’s Office, and the Valley Art Center. Donald’s work has also appeared in several publications including the 2015 Northcoast Events Calendar, The ABCs of Akron and Summit County Coloring and Activity Book, Attack of the Political Cartoonists, North: A Graphic Guide to Pittsburgh’s North Side, and Toon Appétit: Recipes and Cartoons from the Great Lakes Chapter of the National Cartoonists Society.

Audiences throughout Northeast Ohio have been educated and entertained with his cartooning presentations.
