Tara Seibel’s editorial illustrations and cartoons have been published in the New York Times, LA Times, USA Today , Austin Chronicle, Chicago NewCity, Cleveland Scene, SMITH Magazine, HEEB, US Catholic, Jewish Review, The Funny Times, and the Paris Review.
Most known for co-collaborating on a comic strip about Cleveland (Rock City) with the Late Harvey Pekar before his death in 2010.
Her most recent work has been published in the Graphic Canon Volumes two and three by Seven Stories Press. Graphically adapting classic literary works such as The Great Gatsby, Freud’s Interpretation of Dreams, Victor Hugo’s Les Miserables and biographies of the members of the Beat Generation. Her fine art work is mostly portraits of children and sunsets on canvas that are housed in her gallery (Tara Seibel Art Gallery) in Cleveland’s Little Italy. She lives with her husband, three children, dog & cat in Pepper Pike, Ohio
